L.L.Bean Boat & Totes

Vodpod videos no longer available. Just in time for summer, Mary Rose MacKinnon of L.L. Bean sent me this video featuring some great footage of their Boat & Tote in production. Pick yours up today. Once I get my ducks in a row, I’ll be picking up the Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Hunter’s Bag; a portion of the purchase of one of these bags will be donated to the MDIFW.bat

Very cool. I’ve been considering getting a custom tote from them. Too bad that Maine Inland Fisheries bag isn’t made in the US.

I’m with David. You can find a bag made in the US. And send a few buck the Fisheries.

    Keep up the great work.

  4. Great story. I’ve been carrying LLBean totes for 25years. I can’t enought of them….

  5. Inspired post. I actually just got a couple of our several totes out of the attic a couple of weeks ago. Perfect for warmer weather outings. I know the video is set in a factory, but there is something comforting about seeing all of the hand crafting that go into making LLB totes. Cheers!

  6. Everybody should own at least two or three b&t bags. I have two large ones that I’ve been using for my groceries for almost 20 years.

WM J Mills for life… literally. If you bag is ever messed up or anything except not losing it, then will send you a brand new one, no cost at all. Oh yea and that stands forever.

  8. sis just received a few monogrammed bags, actaully had them shipped to my house, cheeky… serious wimbledon purple and green custom color scheme…
