The Goods: A Fun Casual Leather Belt

l15In the photo from T. Hayashida’s Take Ivy, The Trad featured Bean’s Springfield Rifle Belt (see above, bottom). Every man should own a trademark belt, one you’d wear for fun with jeans, cords, or chinos,  something that could act as an attention-grabber, a conversational piece. Whether it means personalizing it with your leather tooling kit à la Into the Wild, taking it to the engraver like style guru Andy Spade, or investing in one of the belts featured here, your belt has the potential to act as a unique expression of your personal style. Make a statement!

Solesu has a a wide selection of very cool belts and buckles all of which are made in the USA. It is definitely worth a look.

  1. Yeah, I’m seriously narrowing in on the brown hoof-pick belt in the top photo – but its retailer, Narragansett Leathers, said they’re closed all of February and March.

Good belts come to those who wait, I’m telling myself.

This is awesome. Some great links and fantastic looking belts. I love how many options are available with the Solesu belts.

I have the J Crew belt pictured in this post. It is terrible! I really like how it looks but it does not work properly. Its consistent with most things I own from J Crew. I love there stuff but it is not built to last.

    Thanks for buying American made!

  6. These belts are very unusual, I don’t particularly care for the trendy buckles. I do like the traditional worn look of the J. Crew English leather belt. I like the vintage look.
