John D. Spooner, Boston’s third best financial adviser in 2006, according to Boston Magazine, wrote an article I found in a tattered old copy of The Atlantic from 1995 which inspired this week of festive neckwear. His are great stories relating to his history with the bow tie and the history of the fancy neck knot itself.
